At just over 42 inches high, the Kid Stick Thumb Stick is perfect for the younger hikers beginning at approximately 48 inches tall.
It is not a stash stick, it is a one-piece hiking staff, and I am not sure of the type of wood that was used to make it. The piece has beautiful shading and variations in the grain pattern throughout its length, accented and protected by multiple coats of high-gloss varnish polished to a water-resistant sheen.
